Are you nervous? I've been sitting here on my classroom floor, grading your boards. They are fantastic! I can't wait to see you present to the judges tomorrow. Make sure you are dressed in your best and are ready to stand for awhile! Have a great night!

Konichiwa
We are studying Japan's history this week and have so far learned about their geography, religion and the legend of how they came to be. Pretty interesting legend about the jeweled spear. Under a separate email, I'll send home info on our Japanese lunch next week which we'll be eating Japanese style! It will be fun!
Our character assembly is this Friday. The 5th graders are going to be presenting a skit on integrity. We are working hard every day so that it is perfect! Feel free to come and watch at 10:15.
Have a wonderful day!

Flowers
Hi all...my amaryllis is in full bloom and is absolutely lovely! Here's what it looks like:
Beautiful, huh! It reminds me of the flowers in The Secret Garden. Mary's garden has grown and so have she and Collin. What a great read! We'll read the last chapter tomorrow.
We finished The Hobbit today too. There's nothing like reading a classic. I sure hope that is what everyone is reading at home. We did well on the NWEA reading test, but I guarantee you that if we all read classics, we will do even better! Please find one at the library or borrow one from my collection. You'll be glad you did!
Have a wonderful day!
